Ingrid Sanders

In 2012 I took a six-month sabbatical and spent over 1,000 hours learning new things from experts. During this time I became: - Certified as a Yoga teacher under Jivamukti with an emphasis on meditation - Certified as a Health Coach under the Institute for Integrative Nutrition with an emphasis on vegetarian and vegan nutrition. Then I started popexpert.

Ingrid Sanders: Social Media as a Stored Value Currency

The new year is in full swing, and it seems that everyone is back at work -- and by work, I mean spending time on Facebook.

That's right, adding friends... reading the newsfeed... commenting on posts, these are no longer just tasks for teenagers or a company's social media manager. As we head into a world of big data (the hot term of the moment at conferences), the value of social media is moving beyond simple PR and entertainment to become a stored asset translatable into real future value.

    life: you are not alone

    Spider Web

I was up early with jet lag this morning and received news that made my heard fall heavy.  The passing of any soul is sad but made much worse when that passing was before its time.

I can’t help but wonder what pain there was to bear.  What small burdens added so incrementally together becoming much too heavy or what large burden seemed so insurmountable?

And yet, I know that perhaps there is an explanation that is much simpler.  That in some way you might have just felt it was your time.  You have no doubt given, created, shared, built and loved great things in your life.  I will honor your journey and remember your past.  But for those among us that feel without hope, please remember…

We may never know the depths of the world in which you live, but that doesn’t mean you are alone.  Separateness is an illusion created when we refuse to let each other in, to seek out and share in each other’s hopes, fears, joys, sorrows, laughter, sadness, accomplishments, failures and love; to experience the interconnectedness of being.

We are all one.  Your burden is no less my own.  Let me carry it for you and share it among the strength of humanity.  Together we can weave a web that holds us all, as fine and delicate as that of a spider and just as strong.  To all those who are in pain, please let us in, for we were already connected long before we met.

RIP.  Look over us, and help us see the light in each other.  You remain in our hearts.

19 People You Should Be Following On Twitter But Aren't (Pt. 1 of 2) | LinkedIn

Ingrid Sanders (@ingridsan) is somebody that I just met. She’s the founder and CEO of an interesting site, and more importantly just really blew me away. I meet with a lot of young entrepreneurs and start-ups constantly, and I would say that out of the last 400, Ingrid really stood out in the top one or two. I think she’d got her head on straight, I think she’s got a bright future, and I think that she’s a worthwhile follow as being a big prospect for having a successful startup.
