Ari Meisel

In 2006, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease an incurable inflammatory disease of the digestive tract. My case was severe, and required over a dozen daily medications and several hospital visits. After reaching a personal low point in hospital, I decided I would do everything in my power to strengthen my by then weakened body. Through a combination of yoga, nutrition, natural supplements and rigorous exercise (Ironman and Crossfit) I was able to fight back the symptoms of Crohn’s until I was finally able to suspend my medication. Eventually I was declared free of all traces of the ‘incurable’ disease, and competed in Ironman France in June of 2011. I have since spoken at seminars and at a regional TED Talk about my struggle against a seemingly insurmountable opponent. Through the process of data collection, self tracking, and analysis, I develop Less Doing. This was a way of dealing with the daily stresses of life by optimizing, automating, and outsourcing all of my tasks in life and business. Now I focus on Achievement Architecture, helping individuals be more effective at everything and advising several companies.

Don't Do it Now, Do it Right Now

There has been a lot of talk about the limited supply of willpower that we have. Decision fatigue is quite literally the exhaustion we feel at the end of the day after making hundreds or even thousands of decisions. Everything from what the new ad campaign for your companies big product will be to whether you should have a gra...

When is a List a Good Thing?

I am totally and completely against to-do lists, but I'm not anti list by any means. I think lists are almost as useful as mind maps when it comes to getting your thoughts out of your head because it gives you a chance to let your thoughts flow. Shopping lists at the grocery store are essential, while checklists for everything...

How To Beat Stress Into Submission For Good

As Brad Pitt said in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, I guess when we come to the end, we start thinking about the beginning. So here we are at the end of the year and I find myself pondering the roots of Less Doing. I started working on a new method of productivity with one goal, to reduce the negative effects that stress h...

    Productivity and Health Coaching

Achievement architecture is a coaching service that has been developed through a long process of experimentation, analytics and personal tracking to help individuals with some amazing results. Anything that you are trying to achieve is possible through building the right architecture – that is, the setting of goals. This includes everything from more productive corporate operations to treating chronic illnesses and even running a faster mile. Anything is possible with the right analysis, tools, and methods provided in an Achievement Architecture coaching session. I am a problem solver. See my TED talk on overcoming a seemingly insurmountable problem. I have worked with clients to:

Take a startup from idea to reality with barebones resources
Overcome chronic illness, sleeping less, and other bio-hacking
Go from running a 9.5 minute mile to a 7 minute mile in 60 days with no more than 20 minutes of daily exercise
Go completely paperless, reclaim your inbox, get back your time
Outsource everything from virtual assistants and web developers to private investigators and composers

Ari simply helped me increase my personal productivity at work and in life with perhaps 100% or more. I strongly recommend everyone to explore his principles, concepts and software recommendations, and to use him as coach for just a few hours to make it happen.

I started working with Ari in early 2012 when I was trying to overcome some health issues and generally find balance between physical and mental health. Ari provided excellent guidance on how I might "hack" my body to find out ways to achieve better health through diet and exercise. Once the physical and emotional limitations were better defined, Ari set to work creating a road map for me to refine my diet, manage stress & anxiety, and develop a fundamentally happier outlook. A year later, I am FREE of disease, FREE of (most) medications, and living a happier more content life. I owe this success to Ari and would recommend him to anyone looking to mitigate the effects of serious health issues or to those simply looking to get more out of life. Thank you Ari!

As a one man operation the single greatest asset I have is the time that can be dedicated towards my clients. Ari has helped me streamline the daily interruptions that pull me away from my to-do list and be more effective with the additional time I do have. He's a student of efficiency and has an obvious love for helping others focus on what's important.

Ari's life story and his passion for helping others is both inspirational and heartwarming. Himself having overcome seemingling insurmountable odds against a desease deemed incurable, Ari literally took the challenge to BEAT the desease (and WON that challenge) and is today one of the most renowned and sought after speakers, whose primary focus is helping others streamline their lives so they too can ENJOY life. As Ari likes to phrase it -- he teaches others how to optimize, automate, and outsource all of their daily tasks in life and business so they can have a more stress-free well being. Ari takes this approach further thru his consulting with businesses who seek ways to better their corporate efficiency and improve employee morale. I highly recommend Ari for anyone seeking an exceptional business or personal coach.

Ari is a master at efficiency. Typically we don't even know...what we don't know. Ari serves as a bridge to valuable services that his clients don't know about. He has helped me short cut so many learning curves around social media, web development and staffing support. In addition Ari is a great resource for all things health related. This kind of rounded experience is what every small business owner craves.I hired him in the first meeting and am glad I did.
